I usually read the Guardian paper, but today the shop ran out of copies so I picked up The Independent instead. Flicking through the pages I got to a section called 'The Opinion Matrix' and started to read the sub heading for 'The Hobbit Criticized'. Well wouldn't you know, my favourite film blog Filmdrunk got mentioned, regarding the 48fps debacle. Although I have to say the 3 word quote used... Since I last reported on the Ashton Kutcher’s Steve Jobs biography passion project, working title “Jobs: Get Inspired”, it has now been revealed who will play the Tonto to Kutcher’s Lone Ranger, Robin to his Batman...or in other words Jobs’s partner in crime and Apple co-founder, Steve Wozniak.   The countdown to Prometheus, has really and truly begun now - only one month to go before Ridley Scott’s Sci-fi epic bursts through our glorious IMAX 3D screens and into our popcorn. It was almost no surprise, to see Johnny Depp wearing make-up and accessories once again when the first image still from The Lone Ranger was tweeted out by Bruckheimer last month. With Capt. If you want to be one of the first few people to see the Dark Knight Rises full length trailer, you'll need to get your your ass down to the cinema to see The Avengers on April 26th (UK) or May 4th (US). The funny thing is that Dark Knight Rises is a DC comics franchise, while the Avengers is from Marvel. Continuing with the ongoing viral marketing campaign for Ridley Scott's Prometheus, 20th Century Fox has released an extensive faux-commercial for the David 8 android. I'm so glad I stumbled across this short film - It follows one highly industrious 9-year old boy named Cain, who during his summer holidays at his dad's auto-parts shop, constructs his own arcade - using nothing but cardboard, tape, string and one hell of an imagination. You'll be impressed with some of the contraptions he comes up with and perhaps feel nostalgic for the days when you were young and dreaming up cool designs for tree houses and such. NOAH WYLE SHOULD PORTRAY STEVE JOBS, NOT KUTCHER!

I don't know about you, but there's only one person I'd cast in a Steve Jobs biopic, and that is Noah Wyle. The actor, best known for playing Dr. John Carter in ER, played Jobs in a previous film, 1999's Pirates of Silicon Valley - and absolutely nailed the performance.
